Beginner's Workout Program

Need a workout program?

No worries, here we are to help! So you've recently joined a gym or let's say you've been working out for a while now but aren't seeing your desired results. A proper workout plan is of utmost importance in the case of a beginner who's looking for some serious gains. Building muscle is not a difficult task for someone who knows what they're doing.

A beginner at the gym should always start with a full body workout routine. This will help your body to get used to working all the muscles. This is mainly because it is something new for your body & it will need time to adapt. As you start working out, your body undergoes many chemical changes which is actually a good sign as this means that you're becoming healthier. It is very important that you don't stress your body too much too fast. If you do so, it might actually lead to your muscles breaking down too quickly & not recovering from it efficiently. This can cause loss of muscle or even muscle damage in some cases. When you begin training at the gym, it is very important that you give your body the rest it requires & that you're not stressing it too much. One shouldn't workout more than 3 - 4 days a week in the beginning as that is more than enough to stimulate your muscles for growth. Anything more than that & you might be over stressing your body which can actually prove to be harmful.

Proper form is the most important point when working out. One repetition with proper form can be a lot more beneficial with gaining muscle than Ten reps with bad form. Performing exercises with bad form could also lead to injuries. In the beginning it is very important that you learn proper form & get consistent with it. Beginners need to firstly leave their ego outside when entering the gym. Lifting light weights but with proper form is a successful workout rather than trying to lift weights that you can't handle. The weights should be in your control & not vice versa. Your workouts should always be slow & controlled without any momentum. This rule should especially be followed during the eccentric movement of you exercise. This will all be possible only when you're lifting weights that are in your control. Remember, even guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger were in your place once. No one is gifted with that amazing physique, everyone has to begin somewhere.

Other than all of the above mentioned thing a few important points to keep in mind for a good workout program are;
Your diet should be in check. The thing to remember is that you have to be eating at a caloric surplus to be gaining muscle. A high protein diet is a must is it is the key ingredient for building muscle. Other than the calories in & out logic, you also need to consider what you're eating. The quality of the food matters a lot when trying to put on some muscle & looking fit.
Rest is crucial for your body to recover. When we start weight training, our muscle fibers break down in the process. It is very important that we get adequate sleep for those broken down muscle fibers to repair & heal.
Consistency is the key here. All the above mentioned points, namely; training, diet & rest work in co-ordination with each other.  You have to make sure that you stay consistent with all of the above as this is the only way that is going to get you through & for you to see you're desired physique.
